A Liverpool defender has been handed a huge upgrade in his rating on EA FC 25
The highly anticipated sports game is set to launch in the UK on September 27, with fans eagerly awaiting its release.
Liverpool features some of the game’s top-rated players, including Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Alisson, who are all popular cards in EA’s Ultimate Team mode.
With ratings starting to be revealed, one of Arne Slot’s defenders is poised for a significant upgrade in his stats.
The full database is now available, confirming that Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah will see a +13 boost in his rating.
Last year, Quansah was rated just 62 and was a bronze card option. He is now set to be rated at 75 as a gold rare card, a significant improvement that the young defender will surely appreciate.
At 21, Quansah had a breakout season during Jurgen Klopp’s final year at Liverpool, often preferred over Ibrahima Konate and making 33 appearances throughout the 2023/24 season. He also played a key role in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup victory, contributing three assists.
Additionally, Quansah has been a regular for England’s Under-21 team since his debut in October 2023. In a recent interview with The Times, he expressed his ambition to reach the highest levels of professional football, a goal he has had since a young age.
“I’ve always aspired to be the best in my position, and I’m constantly working towards that goal, no matter how long it takes. I’m just staying prepared for when the opportunity arises.
Having adjusted to the new expectations under Liverpool’s coach Slot, Quansah is embracing the upcoming challenges.
“There’s a greater emphasis on possession this year,” Quansah noted.
“Last season, we played with a lot of intensity and what we called ‘organised chaos.’ This year, we have a more structured approach to building from the back. Everyone knows their role, rather than it being more spontaneous.”
