BREAKING NEWS: Coming live from Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid ready to offer star forward in swap deal for Arsenal’s William Saliba. Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer Rodrygo to Arsenal in a swap deal to land William Saliba. According to reports, it has been confirmed that Arsenal are open to this deal but are looking for player plus cash deal to let saliba join real Madrid. Los Blancos are huge admirers of the Frenchman and are prepared to lose Rodrygo to secure the defender’s services.

Real Madrid is reportedly considering a swap deal with Arsenal, offering Rodrygo in exchange for defender William Saliba. According to a report from Football Transfers, shared by TBR Football, the Spanish club is eager to acquire Saliba, even if it means letting go of the Brazilian forward.

Saliba is viewed as one of the best defenders globally and a key player for Arsenal. The 23-year-old has developed a strong partnership with Gabriel Magalhães, which is often regarded as one of the Premier League’s top defensive pairings. Arsenal signed Saliba from Saint-Étienne in 2019, but he only made his debut in 2022. Since then, he has become essential to the team’s defense and has played a major role in their recent title pursuits.

The French international has 23 caps for his national team and has made 89 appearances for Arsenal. His contract runs until 2027, but Arsenal is reportedly keen on negotiating a new long-term deal. Meanwhile, Real Madrid aims to bolster their defense and is prepared to include Rodrygo in a possible trade to bring Saliba to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Rodrygo has been a key player for Real Madrid since joining from Santos in 2019 for €45 million. The versatile forward has recorded 56 goals and 43 assists in 224 matches, winning 12 trophies with the club. Despite his importance, Madrid seems willing to let him go to strengthen their defense with the addition of Saliba.

In other transfer news, Arsenal is reportedly competing with Real Madrid for Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono. According to TBR Football, the Gunners are eager to outpace Madrid in securing the River Plate youngster.

At just 17 years old, Mastantuono has already made a name for himself with 29 senior appearances for River Plate. His contract includes a €45 million release clause. Real Madrid, known for acquiring young South American talent, has long admired Mastantuono. However, Arsenal is reportedly ready to activate his release clause to bring the highly-rated player to North London.
