WATCH: Barcelona star Lamine Yamal spotted limping after Spain’s win over Denmark

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal was seen limping after Spain’s Nations League victory over Denmark on Saturday.

Yamal participated almost throughout the 1-0 match but took significant hits from the Danish players and seemed to be in discomfort after the game ended.

He was observed limping as the national team exited the stadium.

Barcelona will be anxiously awaiting news on his condition, especially with upcoming matches against Sevilla, Bayern, and Real Madrid.

Luis de la Fuente commented afterward that Yamal must adapt to the tough treatment from opponents.

He said, “They should kick him… I once had a teammate who told those who complained: what do you want, kisses? Opponents will push the limits of the rules. You have to play as tough as the rules permit, and that’s why we have referees to enforce those limits.

Against young talents like him, the goal is often to intimidate and initiate contact. That’s just part of the game. Referees should protect skilled players, but Lamine has to get used to it. Sometimes he might need to release the ball earlier, but that’s football. I wish it were a perfect environment, but this is the reality of the sport.”

Spain is set to play Serbia in the Nations League on Tuesday, but it’s uncertain if Yamal will participate.
