BREAKING NEWS: Coming Live From Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea To Sell Star Player In The January Transfer Window. Chelsea Have Already Made A Decision To Sell One Of Their Players In The January Transfer Window, According To A Fresh Reports, He’s Considering Not A Long Term Player And Chelsea Are Looking To Sell Him And Bring In Premier League Striker As A Replacement.

Chelsea is reportedly planning to sell one of their players in the upcoming January transfer window. After offloading several players over the summer, including Romelu Lukaku, the club has improved its finances but still has not completely cleared its roster. Although Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka have been reintegrated into the first team, they remain marginal players under manager Enzo Maresca, who has indicated they won’t be regular starters.

Chilwell and Chukwuemeka were initially categorized as part of the “bomb squad” during preseason, a term for players not included in the manager’s plans. Maresca commented on Chukwuemeka, saying, “Carney is a very good player, but given our squad size, we felt it would be better for him to go elsewhere, play 30 or 35 games, and prove himself rather than stay here and get limited chances.” Unfortunately for Chukwuemeka, that move did not materialize, and he remains at Stamford Bridge. While he has received some playing time recently, he did not appear in the latest match and hopes for more opportunities in the future.

Given Maresca’s remarks, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea intends to sell Chukwuemeka in January and is actively looking for a new team for him. Despite joining from Aston Villa for £20 million in 2022, Chukwuemeka has struggled to find a consistent spot in the Chelsea lineup.

Romano noted that Chelsea was open to letting Chukwuemeka go during the summer but only if a club could guarantee him significant playing time. Offers from teams like AC Milan were turned down because they could not assure him a regular starting position. As Romano highlighted, “Maresca has always been upfront with his players, and during the summer window, Chelsea wanted Carney to join a team where he could play at least 38 games, not one where he would sit on the bench.”

Now that Chukwuemeka has not secured consistent playing time, Chelsea is expected to ramp up efforts to find him a new club in January. Both the player and the club understand that staying sidelined for too long is not advantageous, and discussions are already underway to facilitate a suitable move for everyone involved.
