### Jurgen Klopp Targets Young Barcelona Talents for Red Bull
Jurgen Klopp is quickly adapting to his new role at Red Bull, already compiling a list of transfer targets for the clubs he will manage. Following his departure from Liverpool at the end of last season, Klopp was expected to take a break, but by October 9, 2024, he had secured his next position.
Although he will officially start in the New Year, Klopp is actively scouting potential signings. According to journalist Sebastian Vidal, he is particularly interested in two young players from Barcelona: Aleix Garrido and Noah Darvich. These players are viewed as excellent fits for the Red Bull organization.
Garrido, who has primarily played for Barcelona’s B-team, made a brief substitute appearance for the first team during Xavi’s tenure. After suffering a metatarsal fracture in March, he has yet to play this season but is still considered one of Barcelona’s top young prospects at just 20 years old.
Darvich, signed from SC Freiburg last summer, has impressed since joining Barcelona. The 18-year-old participated in the club’s pre-season but has not debuted in a competitive match for the senior team. He captained the German Under-17 team that won both the World Cup and European Championships in 2023.
Red Bull clubs have a strong track record of developing young talent into star players, with successful alumni like Dani Olmo, Erling Haaland, and Josko Gvardiol. It remains to be seen whether Garrido and Darvich will take a similar path or continue their growth at Barcelona.
