Surprise announcement from France: Vinicius thinks he lost the Ballon d’Or

Real Madrid was all set to celebrate the Ballon d’Or, which seemed like a sure win until recently. However, reports from France indicate that those close to Vinicius are concerned he might miss out on the award. Fabrice Hawkins and RMC Sport report that Vinicius has expressed a sense of pessimism about his chances, believing that if he doesn’t win, Manchester City’s Rodri will.

According to Hawkins and RMC Sport, Vinicius’s circle is now convinced he won’t receive the Ballon d’Or, a sentiment echoed in Madrid. Both Vinicius and Rodri participated in the Champions League quarter-finals recently.

Marca was the first to suggest that the Ballon d’Or would go to Vinicius, but as doubts grew about his victory, they began to reassess their earlier predictions. The surprising announcement from France claims that Vinicius feels he has lost the award.

As the ceremony approaches, Real Madrid has been preparing for the event, although there are reports that the team might not travel to Paris after all.
