**SPORTGLITZ: Spanish Legend Says Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal is Superior to Vinicius Jr.**

Marcos Senna, a prominent figure in Spanish football, has praised Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, stating he considers Yamal better than Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. Senna highlighted Yamal’s remarkable speed as a key factor in his preference.

He compared this to his historical preference for Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo, emphasizing Messi’s pace and game influence. Senna believes Yamal shares these qualities, appreciating his dynamic play and passing versatility.

“Both players are exceptional, but I prefer Lamine due to his speed,” Senna told Mundo Deportivo. He reiterated his admiration for Messi, noting his greater impact and diverse passing abilities.

While acknowledging Vinicius’s talent, including a standout assist to Rodrygo, Senna remarked that Yamal consistently makes a stronger impression. “Vinicius has moments of brilliance, but Lamine performs exceptionally, especially in one-on-ones,” he explained, suggesting that if Yamal possessed Vinicius’s speed, he would be an ideal dribbler.

Senna also reflected on Andrés Iniesta’s impending retirement, expressing regret that Iniesta never won a Ballon d’Or, particularly the one in 2010. He called Iniesta a global icon and lamented that he is stepping away from the game, praising him both as a player and a person.
