Walker told co-host Chris Hughes, βI think I get into excellent positions, so Iβm definitely aiming to score a few more goals this season.β He added, βIβm 34 now, so I need to start incorporating that into my game.β
Walkerβs confidence in his goal-scoring ability this season was so strong that he promised to take Hughes out for lunch the day after he scores for Pep Guardiolaβs team.
Given that Walker had no goals and five assists in 47 appearances across all competitions last season, even a single goal would mark a significant improvement.
