Chelsea is prepared to make an offer close to the €60 million (£51 million) fee set for Ademola Lookman, along with a four-year contract that would pay him £200,000 per week. Enzo Maresca aims to bolster his attacking options with a Serie A player.

Maresca is interested in acquiring Lookman, who had an impressive season at Atalanta, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists in 45 appearances. Notably, he scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen in May, attracting attention from several European clubs.

According to Calciomercato, Chelsea is among the clubs keen on Lookman and is willing to meet the €60 million (£51 million) asking price, despite Atalanta signing him for only €15 million (£12.7 million) less than two years ago.

Lookman’s career includes a loan at RB Leipzig, as well as stints at Fulham and Leicester, where he impressed with eight goals and five assists in 42 matches before making a permanent move to Atalanta.

If Chelsea signs Lookman, they would gain a player with significant Premier League experience. Known for his speed and direct play, Lookman primarily operates as a left winger, bringing valuable goal-scoring and assisting skills that could enhance Chelsea’s offense.
